Rehan Chagla | Vice President | LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong><\/h6>\n

Rehan is a third-year Ph.D. student in Medicinal Chemistry at UCLA, where he develops small-molecule therapeutics targeting proteins implicated in cancer. His research sits at the intersection of chemical biology and drug discovery, translating molecular insights into potential therapeutic strategies. He earned BA and MSci degrees in the Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Having lived in India, the UK and the US, he enjoys exploring new cultures and experimenting with global flavors in the kitchen.<\/p>\n

Gourav Saha | Director of Marketing | LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong><\/h6>\n

Gourav is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Bioengineering and Physiology at UCLA. His research combines computational modeling and drug screening to understand how defects in ion channels in muscle cells cause disease, and to identify drugs that correct them. Outside the lab, he enjoys planning elaborate game nights, cooking different cuisines and catching up on the newest tech.<\/p>\n

Xinguo Fang (Cynthia) | Director of Communications | LinkedIn<\/a><\/strong><\/h6>\n

Cynthia Fang is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in Bioengineering at UCLA, where she develops AI-driven image reconstruction methods for cardiac MRI. Outside of her research, she enjoys going to the theater, traveling, and baking.<\/span><\/p>\n

Van is a Master of Quantitative Economics student at UCLA with research interests in litigation and public policy. He is a Washingtonian who loves to hike, play basketball, and spend time with friends.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Emma Young is a 4th year Ph.D. student in Biological Anthropology at UCLA. Her current research focuses on evolutionary cold adaptation in humans in the Peruvian Andes and its effects on metabolic health.<\/p>\n
