Harry Chen is a third-year Ph.D. student in Bioengineering at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His research focuses on gene and cell therapy, with a particular interest in developing therapeutic strategies for rare diseases. He is passionate about science communication and committed to bridging the gap between scientific research and the public. Harry earned his B.S. in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis, in 2023. Outside the lab, he enjoys running, climbing, and sailing.<\/span><\/p>\n

His research interests include understanding the electromagnetic properties of the early universe using data from high energy physics experiments. Outside research, he enjoys hiking and exploring different genres of music.<\/p>\n

Kyla is a 4th year PhD student in Human Genetics at UCLA. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, thrifting, and going to concerts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cynthia Fang is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Bioengineering at UCLA, where she develops AI-driven image reconstruction methods for cardiac MRI. Outside of her research, she enjoys going to the theater, traveling, and baking.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her work bridges data science, cancer biology, and software development, with the goal of making cancer genomics more interpretable and reproducible.
